What is Propolis?

Propolis is produced from raw materials made by honey bees. The honey bee produces Propolis by collecting tree or plant resin, then mixing it with bee enzymes and sometimes beewax. The honey bees traditionally use Propolis to maintain the health of their hive, to protect the hive from spread of infection, and sometimes they will use Propolis to fill smaller gaps in the hive.

Comvita®’s standardised trademark icon on the left (located on the propolis package) ensures that each 1ml contains Propolis equivalent to a certain milligram amount of fresh Propolis.

This ensures that you are receiving a guaranteed level of bioflavonoids and other phenolics in every single dose, delivering a naturally potent immune health supplement.

Comvita® has always been committed to providing assurances to global customers of freshness, purity, safety and authenticity.

To make it easier for customers to find quality Propolis, Comvita® created the 'mg' icon, ensuring that you are receiving a guaranteed level of bio-actives in every dose.
