    Medihoney™ Antibacterial Wound Gel™ is a great all-rounder for the first-aid kit. It is a sterile product containing Medihoney™ Antibacterial Honey and waxes.
     
    Medihoney™ Antibacterial Wound Gel™ cleans and protects the wound from bacteria, reducing the risk of infection. This easy to apply gel creates a moist, low pH environment that promotes new tissue formation and wound healing. New tissue is protected from painful damage when the dressing is changed.

    Medihoney™ Antibacterial Wound Gel™ is suitable for use on burns, cuts and grazes and surgical wounds. It can also be used on pressure, venous, and leg and foot ulcers. It can be used in all stages of wound healing.

    Medihoney™ Antibacterial Wound Gel™ has been specifically formulated combining 80% Medihoney™ Antibacterial Honey with natural waxes and oils to provide a high viscosity gel that is easy to apply with good wash off characteristics when dressings are changed.  It can be used throughout the healing process.

    All of the products in the Comvita Medihoney™ range contain Medihoney™ Antibacterial Honey, which is a standardised medical grade of antibacterial honey collected predominantly from Leptospermum sp. (including Manuka). 


    This combination of Leptospermum honeys has been put together using advanced scientific knowledge to maximise honey’s potential to support the healing process.
