Breakfast For Two! Make Someone Feel Special
Going out for dinner may seem like the obvious choice for a romantic meal, but taking the time to wake up early to make your loved one a healthy breakfast in bed is a real treat and shows a great deal of effort in showing you care. Try our recipes for the perfect breakfast which is both quick and delicious!
The goal is to create a healthy smoothie which ends up a lovely pinkish colour. Generally bananas and raspberries work well, but feel free to get creative and swap some ingredients in or out.
50ml Almond milk
Simply blend all the ingredients together. Serve with a raspberry or two sitting on the top to get extra points for presentation skills! To make it a really healthy treat top with a teaspoon of honey.
The beauty in strawberries is their shape and colour – instant hearts!
1 punnet of ripe strawberries
50g of Greek or natural unsweetened yoghurt
Lashings of honey
Carefully remove the stems and leaves from the strawberries. If you’re feeling creative, use a knife to create the top of a heart shape. Slice length ways down the strawberry to show off the heart shape clearly.
Add the yoghurt to a small serving bowl and top with the strawberries.
Drizzle the honey all over for a sweet treat.
