Chocolate Mousse Recipe

Try this delicious healthy dessert incorporating Comvita® Fresh-Picked Olive Leaf Extract and UMF™ 5+ Manuka Honey ingredients! Great idea to share with your family and friends as an all year round recipe!

Ingredients (Serves 2)

Mousse
4 medium avocadoes
2 tbspn of cocoa powder
2 tbspn of UMF™ 5+ Manuka Honey
30ml of Fresh-Picked™ Olive Leaf Extract liquid Original Flavour
120ml of lactose free milk or almond milk or filtered water (depends on your taste)
Topping of your choice (chopped nuts, berries, or coconut desiccated)

Berry Sauce (optional)
300g fresh berries of your choice (strawberries or raspberries)

Method

  1. To make the berry sauce, place the berries in a blender and whiz for approximately 15 to 20 seconds. Pour the berry sauce in a small container. Then refrigerate it until the mousse is ready.
  2. For the mousse, add the avocadoes, cocoa powder, manuka honey, olive leaf extract, and milk or filtered water together in a blender and blend the ingredients until there is a smooth consistency. Have a quick taste, and if required, you can adjust to taste.
  3. To serve, get some pretty short glasses, pour some of the berry sauce on the bottom first, then top the glass up with the chocolate mousse. Sprinkle or decorate topping of your choice.
