Your kids will love these cute and tasty Funny Face Easter treats, that are as fun to look at as they are to eat.
Ingredients
- Rye bread
- Ricotta
- Peanut butter
- Chocolate hazelnut spread
- Banana
- Strawberries
- Blueberries
- Comvita Manuka honey
Method
- Lightly toast rye bread
For Hoppy Ricotta
- Spread a generous tablespoon of Ricotta onto the toast.
- Slice a banana in half lengthwise, then halve each piece again to create the ears.
- Cut a strawberry into quarters to make the inner parts of the ears.
- For the nose, slice a small strawberry in half.
- Use two blueberries for the eyes and thin slices of banana for the whiskers.
For Nutty Hoot
- Spread a generous tablespoon of peanut butter onto the toast.
- Slice a banana for the eyes and place two blueberries as pupils.
- Use sliced strawberries to create wings, and if available, use an almond or another blueberry for the beak.
For Choco Teddy
- Spread a generous tablespoon of reduced-sugar Chocolate Hazelnut spread onto the toast.
- Slice a banana for the ears and nose, and use three blueberries for the eyes and nose tip.
Drizzle with Comvita Mānuka Honey just before eating...and enjoy!
